Average Sunday School attendance during October was 101. The Children's
Church and Junior Church groups went to Bandy's Pumpkin Patch on October
11. Revival services were held at Arnold View on October 12-15. Brother
Tyler Penn brought several challenging messages. Pete McClerren served
as the song leader, and Shirley Russell was the pianist.
Ronald Lyell, 65, passed away on October 17. Condolences to the family.
Arnold View's delegates to the South Central Quarterly Conference at
Alexander on October 25 were Faye Ellen Chamness, Colene Doss and James
Sanders. Lindel and Judy King celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary
at our church on October 26. A baby shower for Luci Dwyer was held that
evening. Trunk or Treat was held on Halloween. Our teens took their annual
shopping trip to Nashville.
A Teacher and Worker Appreciation Day was observed on November 2. Teachers
and officers received gifts. Brother Bob Mausey received a plaque in
honor of his service as a deacon since 1961. An appreciation luncheon
was served that afternoon. Tyler Loyd and Mikayla Chamness were baptized
that day.
